The French company Elistair has developed a special power supply system via the SAFE-T 2 cable for the ANAFI UKR unmanned aerial vehicle. The drone has been developed and is already being mass-produced by the Paris-based Parrot SA company. The drone was first introduced in June last year. The company reports that the copter-type reconnaissance UAV was created by order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and is supplied to the Forces of the unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Due to the constant supply of current through a thin wire 110 meters long from the ground station, the drone can operate in the air for hours without recharging its batteries. This solution is designed for the military, police and rescuers who need a long and continuous inspection of the territory. The device is suitable for patrolling borders, protecting important facilities, keeping order at mass events and helping during emergencies.

The ANAFI UKR drone is capable of conducting short-range aerial reconnaissance at any time of the day. The developers claim that the drone can operate in a combat zone in the absence of satellite navigation signals. The claimed maximum flight time of a UAV with a standard battery is 38 minutes, which provides a range of up to 23 kilometers. In the ANAFI UKR XLR modification with a more powerful battery, the drone operates autonomously for 70 minutes and covers a distance of up to 40 kilometers during this time. The cruising speed of the UAV is 6.5 m/s, and the maximum reaches 17 m/ s.
GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou satellite systems are used for drone navigation. The multilevel architecture of ANAFI UKR secure radio communications is designed to counteract the effects of electronic warfare. The drone is equipped with high-resolution image sensors, including those operating in the infrared range. The streaming video is transmitted to the ground station, there is a recording on an internal storage device. Thanks to AI technology, the drone is able to operate offline according to the flight mission.
