The Finnish company ESOX Group has developed an unmanned ground-based military robot with an original undercarriage.
The curb weight of the ESOX X2 and the payload are 300 kg each (that is, the drone carries a weight equal to its own mass) With the stated potential, when upgrading the platform to 600 kg, the speed is up to 30 km/h, and the power reserve is more than 200 km on a single charge.
The platform is equipped with an innovative solid-State battery (Solid-State Battery) with a capacity of 8 kWh (the battery is divided into two quick-release modules of 4 kWh each), with an energy density of 400 Wh/kg (2 times higher than the best lithium-ion analogues used in the army, which doubles the time with the same weight battery life). At temperatures in the extreme range from -30°C to +100°C, more than 85% of the capacity is retained. A full charge takes less than 5 minutes. The design life of the cell structure is designed for 100 thousand cycles.

The machine uses motor wheels with integrated drive - 4 independent ESOX Theron electric motors of 7 kW each. The total torque is 1000 Nm (250 Nm for each 12-inch wheel). The developer noted about this:
The robot is controlled by ESOX OS software, which is capable of broadcasting telemetry on the fly, receiving updates over a wireless network (OTA) and quickly changing modular packages to solve various tasks, from autonomous logistics and reconnaissance to operating in kamikaze drone or light weapons carrier mode.
