Visitors of the INNOPROM exhibition. India" can get acquainted with the models of the regional turboprop IL-114-300, short-range SJ-100 and medium-range MS-21
The United Aircraft Corporation (PJSC UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation) will present INNOPROM at the international exhibition. India" is a line of fully domestic new-generation civil aircraft. The machines can become the basis for the development of India's air transport system.
In particular, models of the IL-114-300 regional turboprop aircraft, the short-range SJ-100 and the medium-range MS-21 are presented at a joint stand with the United Engine Corporation.
Also, as part of INNOPROM's business program, UAC is organizing a special session "Wings of Partnership: Towards a Self-Sufficient India through Regional Aviation Projects." The event will present the concept of using Russian machines for the development of air transportation in India, including UAC's capabilities to localize production and after-sales service of aircraft and their components.
The aircraft line presented at the exhibition can completely meet the needs of local airlines. The IL-114-300 will contribute to the development of regional transportation from small airfields within the framework of the UDAN program (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik — Let ordinary citizens of the country fly). The SJ-100 can be used for transportation from large metropolitan areas to regional centers and small towns, while the MS-21 can be operated on the busiest trunk routes.
"We continue to work in the key set at the Wings of India exhibition in January. Over the past six months, we have made significant progress in negotiations and have reached a number of agreements on the IL-114-300, which we will sign at INNOPROM. India“. The capabilities of UAC and other Rostec enterprises make it possible to offer Indian partners not individual products, but comprehensive industrial cooperation, from aircraft supplies to production localization and technological partnerships. A good example of such cooperation is our project to localize the production of SJ-100 together with HAL Corporation. To date, we have agreed on a license agreement for more than 80%, and we plan to sign it in the near future. At the upcoming AeroIndia 2027 exhibition, we expect to conclude an agreement with the first Indian operator," said Vadim Badekha, CEO of PJSC UAC.
The Russian IL-114-300 turboprop aircraft is designed to develop regional flights. It is capable of operating autonomously from small airfields, regardless of their infrastructure, as well as from short runways. The machine is built from domestic components and is equipped with TV7-117ST-01 engines.
The SJ-100 is a short—range, narrow-body aircraft with a capacity of up to 103 passengers. As part of the import substitution work, the machine is equipped with Russian PD-8 engines, domestic chassis, avionics, auxiliary power plant and other systems. The aircraft is highly comfortable for vehicles of this class and is designed to develop air transportation between regions, bypassing major aviation hubs.
The MC-21 is a new generation medium—haul passenger aircraft. The liner was created on the basis of the latest developments and is focused on the most demanded segment of the passenger transportation market. Advanced aerodynamics, PD-14 engines and the latest generation systems provide it with high flight performance.
