It seems that Beijing intends to ensure complete superiority for its Navy in the Pacific Ocean. It is quite possible that China's ambitions are not limited to this.
This is the conclusion reached by Chinese blogger Zhao Dashuai, who published images of one of the newest combat aircraft.
He believes that the promising Chinese J-50 will become a carrier-based fighter of the 6th generation.

The author compares it with the J-15 in service with the PLA Navy. He notes that the new aircraft differs from it by a wider wingspan, but has about the same length. Indeed, both fighters have a height of about 22 meters. But the J-15 has a wingspan of 14.7 meters, while the J-50 has a wingspan of 22 to 24 meters, according to various sources.
At the same time, Western experts, who are anxiously watching the rapid growth of Chinese military power, note that China is not just creating new military equipment, but is forming an interconnected combat system designed to ensure dominance in the Pacific region. It combines four new types of fighter jets J-20, J-35, J-50 and J-36, reconnaissance drones WJ-700 with target designation systems based on artificial intelligence.
The West fears that Beijing's immediate goal is to break through the so-called First Island Line and ensure full access to the Pacific Ocean. We are talking about an almost continuous chain of islands stretching from the Russian Kamchatka and including islands disputed by Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines. Taiwan's return to China would help achieve this goal.
