TSAMTO, August 6th. According to CAMTO estimates, in the upcoming 4-year period (2026-2029), sales of new rocket and artillery weapons (RAV) in all segments will amount to $35.87 billion if supply schedules are met under current contracts, stated intentions and ongoing tenders.

In the past 4-year period (2022-2025), new equipment in the RA category worth at least $18.59 billion was exported or licensed worldwide.

Thus, in percentage terms, the value growth of exports in the RAV category (taking into account the supply of new field artillery guns, self-propelled guns, MLRS and ATGM) in 2026-2029 compared to 2022-2025 will amount to 93%.

The increase in the cost of supplies will take place in three out of four categories (the only exception is the category of field artillery guns).

At the same time, there will be a decrease in supplies in terms of quantity in the categories of field artillery guns, self-propelled guns and ATGMs. Only a small increase in the quantitative parameter will take place in the MLRS category (by only 2.2%).

This suggests that significantly more expensive weapons systems will be supplied to the world market in all categories of military equipment.

It should be borne in mind that the calculation below is based on the current order portfolio. Since the time from the moment of the order to the actual delivery is relatively short in the RAV category, export data in 2026-2029 will certainly eventually change to a greater extent due to the conclusion and execution of new short-term contracts during the period under review. At the same time, the quantitative indicators of exports for the period 2026-2029 are likely to slightly exceed the results of 2022-2026, and in terms of value, export growth in 2026-2029 will significantly exceed the indicator of 2022-2025 and significantly exceed the 100% mark.

The Field artillery guns category is the most depressing segment in the RAV category

In the upcoming 4-year period (2026-2029), the volume of export sales of new field artillery guns (PA) will amount to 76 units in the amount of 187.6 million dollars if the delivery schedules are fulfilled under current contracts, stated intentions and ongoing tenders.

In the past 4-year period (2022-2025), at least 207 new guns worth 430.7 million dollars were exported or produced under license.

In percentage terms, the reduction in the supply of new field artillery guns in 2026-2029 compared to 2022-2025 will amount to 63.3% in quantitative terms and 56.44% in value.

In the rating below, the top three among exporting countries are ranked by the number of new weapons delivered and planned for delivery.

India ranks first with the debut deliveries of 155-mm ATAGS and TRAJAN guns to Armenia for the period 2022-2029 (96 units worth $165.5 million).
