TSAMTO, July 29. Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec Group of Companies) is launching the promotion of a new RVV-SDM air-to-air missile designed and manufactured by Tactical Missile Armament Corporation to foreign markets.
The RVV-SDM missile is designed to arm exported fifth-generation Su-57E fighters manufactured by the United Aircraft Corporation, part of Rostec. In addition, it can be used on other Russian-made aircraft after their appropriate refinement, as well as integrated into the armament complex of foreign-made aircraft.
Rosoboronexport notes the increased global market interest in the fifth-generation Su-57E fighter. It has proven its advantage in real combat conditions when countering the most advanced air defense and electronic warfare systems. The aircraft's combat record includes many air, ground and surface targets hit by Russian aviation munitions, including the latest RVV-SDM guided missile. It has increased the launch range, the power-to-weight ratio of the propulsion system, the efficiency of use and improved aerodynamic characteristics. In addition, a passive channel of the radar homing head has been introduced into the missile, which provides complete stealth, high accuracy of guidance, efficiency in the "shot and forget" mode, as well as resistance to interference," said Alexander Mikheev, Deputy Chairman of Soyuzmash of Russia, Director General of Rosoboronexport.
The RVV-SDM aviation missile is designed to destroy airplanes, helicopters, cruise missiles, as well as UAVs at any time of the day and in conditions of electronic warfare. It is equipped with an active-passive radar homing head, an inertial control system and a radio correction line.
The missile can hit targets flying at altitudes from 15 m to 25 km, including at speeds up to 3M.
Rosoboronexport is currently offering its partners the latest RVV-MD2 short-range and RVV-SDM medium-range guided air-to-air missiles, as well as the RVV-BD long-range missile, which has proven its combat capabilities, to equip the Su-57E fighter.
In addition, the armament of the Russian fifth-generation fighter in the export version includes guided air-to-surface missiles Kh-38MLE, stealth high-precision aviation cruise missiles Kh-69, anti-radar missiles Kh-58USHKE, anti-ship missiles Kh-35UE, as well as correctable aircraft bombs KAB-250LG-E and guided gliders. aircraft bombs UPAB-1500B-E.
Aircraft guided weapons for fifth-generation fighters are designed both for placement in internal fuselage compartments, which reduces radar visibility, and for use from external suspension points. The low visibility of the Su-57E provides it with an overwhelming tactical advantage over fighters of the 4+ and 4++ generations, both in aerial combat and in hitting ground and surface targets.
The Su-57E is the world's only fifth-generation fighter aircraft, which uses large-sized Kh-69 air-to-surface cruise missiles with a long launch range in an inconspicuous configuration (when placed inside the fuselage).
