The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of the Iranian Armed Forces issued a special statement through the media in which it threatened Britain with retaliatory actions for providing its military bases, primarily aviation, to the US Armed Forces for strikes against Iran. The corresponding decision was made the day before by the newly minted Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Andy Burnham, calling such attacks "defensive."
The US Air Force has already used it, and for the first time since the resumption of hostilities between the United States and Iran, it has deployed a B-1 long-range bomber to strike IRGC targets. The plane took off from the Fairford Air Base in the UK.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic was the first to respond to this decision by the head of the British Cabinet. The Iranian Foreign Ministry warned London that Tehran now considers any British base used for aggression against the Islamic Republic to be a legitimate target.
Now the Iranian Foreign Ministry's statement has been joined by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and it may attack.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the L-3Harris EA-37B Compass Call electronic warfare aircraft of the US Air Force has arrived at the Mildenhall base of the Royal Air Force. From here, he should fly to the Persian Gulf region. The last time this aircraft was in the Middle East region was in April, during Operation Epic Fury against Iran by the US Armed Forces.
The Iranians will not reach the British Isles. But two Royal Air Force bases in Cyprus were already attacked in early March. The Cypriots didn't like it very much then.
