LifePods B-01
French startup Momentum Technologies has unveiled the LifePods B-01 two-seat safety capsule, where you can hide from bullets, shrapnel, flames and many other threats in an emergency.
The B-01 housing consists of several layers — high-strength steel and special thermal insulation. That is, it is both a strong armor, a climatic shelter and a survival module. The cabin has already passed ballistic tests in accordance with the international VPAM PM7 standards: the body must withstand the impact of 5.56 x 45 mm cartridges at a speed of 950 m/s and 7.62 x 51 mm at a speed of about 830 m/s. In addition to mechanical protection, the B-01 is equipped with air purification systems (72 hours of autonomy), thermal insulation and alarm systems to make it easier to find those inside. Another advantage of the capsule is its mobility. It can be transported in standard containers, stacked, and even delivered to the installation site by helicopter.
LifePods W-01
The second version of the capsule, the floating W-01, is designed to protect against floods and tsunamis. She doesn't have complicated mechanisms that she doesn't need. Its main characteristic is passive hydrodynamic stability, which provides it with buoyancy. The W-01 can accommodate four adults and four children at the same time.
