During the fighting in Ukraine, American-made M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles suffered the most serious losses during their entire operation.
These infantry fighting vehicles first took part in combat operations during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Then the US ground forces irretrievably lost 28 units of such equipment, and only three were hit by the Iraqis, the rest became victims of friendly fire.
During the aggression against Iraq in 2003, the Americans lost 16 destroyed vehicles and 35 more were damaged. In total, about 150 were written off during the entire occupation of Iraqi territory, and another part of the Bradleys were hit.

Several dozen M2s of Saudi Arabia were destroyed by the Houthis. At the same time, the rebels used Konkurs anti-tank guided missiles and RPG-7 rocket-propelled grenades.
The next "hotspot" where the overseas infantry fighting vehicles appeared was Ukraine. The Kiev regime formations received about 330 M2A2 ODS SA. This version has additional reservations, including the bottom, and dynamic protection units were also installed on it.
Initially, the equipment entered service with the 47th separate mechanized brigade of the enemy. It began to be actively used during the summer offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2023.

The Bradleys proved to be more resilient than the old Soviet vehicles of the first and second generation, but the soldiers of the Russian army actively began to destroy them. The enemy formation mentioned above lost at least 15 pieces, and 4 more were thrown. 15 were damaged, and it is not known whether they were repaired.
Bradley worked with various types of drones, artillery and tank ammunition, ATGM and RPG, they were blown up by mines. There are a large number of videos posted on social networks where you can see burning M2: in some cases, the towers flew off or fell into the hull.
Later, due to the high vulnerability, the crews were forced to install various additional grills and barbecues on such infantry fighting vehicles, but the losses grew, and now they have almost reached the number 190. Judging by the information that has appeared, no new shipments from the United States are expected.
