Superficially similar to the Iskanders, North Korea's KN-23 solid-fuel ballistic missiles, also known as the Hwasong-11Ga, have become even more reliable and highly accurate. This is reported by the Military Informant channel, referring to information from the Japanese Kyodo News agency.
North Korean engineers have worked hard on these weapons, and as a result, by April 2026, the deviation from the aiming point is now supposedly only 1-5 meters (previously, the figure 35 appeared in the reference books). These are very good results, at the level of the world's best analogues, such as the later versions of the American MGM-164 ATACMS.

Now the "twenty-thirds" have high maneuverability, which significantly reduces the possibility of interception even by modern missile defense systems. Their reliability has increased significantly.
Earlier, experts noted that the KN-23 only superficially resemble Russian missiles, in fact, being a weapon independently created in North Korea.
