Rostec has developed a Unified Accounting System, a corporate platform based on domestic technology, designed to unify financial, production and management accounting. The Unified Unified Accounting System (UES) was developed by the Rostec Competence Center for Information Technology and cybersecurity, RT—Inform, based on the Russian 1C platform. This is a full-fledged ERP system that unifies all accounting on a corporate scale, takes into account the industry specifics of hundreds of enterprises and their production processes, as well as legal requirements.
The main feature of the EUS is the automation of mandatory separate accounting for state defense and civilian orders. For defense industry organizations that are part of Rostec's corporate circuit, this is not an "additional function", but a requirement of legislation and regulatory authorities.
As a result, the system generates high-quality analytical data that allows it to identify bottlenecks and so-called "boilers" of costs. Moreover, the EUS provides a reduction in the total cost of ownership of the IT landscape through standardization and the elimination of disparate solutions.
Currently, the EUS is being tested in the Corporation's pilot organizations, and preparatory measures are being taken to further replicate the system across the entire corporate circuit with a planned launch in 2027.
Rostec's Director of Digital Transformation also spoke about the results of the Corporation's transition to domestic software. In particular, the automated financial and procurement management system (AS FDD) is one of the largest 1C—based installations in Russia, which provides management of typical corporate business processes: from budgeting and procurement to investments and strategic planning.
The project on import substitution and system development was also implemented by RT-Inform. More than 40 types of Russian software and equipment were integrated into a single complex. The transition to a 100% domestic hardware and software stack did not require the shutdown of services and retraining of users, made it possible to meet the requirements of regulators and ensure the stability of key business processes. Today, over 23 thousand users work in the FDD Automated Control System.
"Rostec's digital transformation is not just about replacing foreign software. This is a reassembly of processes, data, and responsibilities. The AC FDD and EUS projects clearly demonstrate that the Russian industry is able to create and implement the most complex accounting systems, which surpass their Western counterparts in a number of parameters. This is our own path to technological sovereignty," Maxim Valin said.
The CNews Forum Cases: the Experience of IT Leaders conference traditionally serves as a platform for an honest exchange of experience between customers and suppliers of IT solutions. The event is dedicated to the analysis of real digital transformation projects, management solutions and practical results of the implementation of IT systems in business, trade, industry and the public sector.
