The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) carried out the largest attack on Moscow in two years. Air defense systems destroyed more than 190 UAVs. In particular, the Moscow Oil Refinery was damaged . It was also reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces used most of their long-range drones, including UAVs of the "Fierce", FP-1, "Morok", "Beaver" types.
A flock of at least six Ukrainian "geranium-like" kamikaze drones "Sichen" ("January") flies one by one towards the Moscow refinery during the morning raid. As mentioned earlier, the enemy used almost the entire main range of its UAVs in Moscow.

What is known about the new drone?
As reported by the Military Review, an exhibition was held in Kiev in mid—April 2026, where the Xichen, a long-range aircraft-type UAV made according to the tailless scheme, was officially presented. It was demonstrated under the general brand of the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, the developer was not disclosed. The drone was called a close analogue of the Russian Geranium-2.
According to the Ukrainian side, the launch weight of the Sichen is 140 kilograms, the flight range is 1400 kilometers, and the maximum speed is 200 kilometers per hour. The drone carries a warhead weighing 40 kilograms (presumably, high-explosive fragmentation, incendiary).
The source noted that the specified Ukrainian drone is designed to destroy stationary targets with previously known coordinates. Control system: autopilot and navigation aids, presumably satellite and inertial.

Alexey Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Relations, in an interview with Lenta.<url>" called for a strike on Ukraine that would prevent all terrorist actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"We have been talking and talking about red lines. We are talking about inadmissibility. And we must talk about the adequacy of retaliatory strikes and what this will lead to. We have positions and agreements in Anchorage [following the meeting of the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump]. We must adhere to them and act," the deputy said.
