Russian aviation has intensified strikes on enemy drone launch command posts. Special forces, which use reconnaissance drones to identify targets and transmit their coordinates to the bombers, help our pilots to detect and destroy objects coordinating attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the regions of the Russian Federation. Aerial bombs with universal planning and correction modules (UMPC) are used to destroy Ukrainian control points. According to experts, such weapons can deliver high-precision strikes not only at fortified facilities, but also at other important targets.
How aircraft and ground forces work
In the area of the special military operation, Russian Air Force aircraft began to actively strike command posts, drone launch sites, deployment areas and field workshops of enemy UAV units. When performing such tasks, pilots work closely with units engaged in combat operations on the front line.
Operators of reconnaissance drones detect enemy positions and promptly transmit the coordinates of the Air Force, sources familiar with the situation told Izvestia. After the strike, the drones carry out objective control and record the results, the interlocutors of the publication clarified.

High-explosive aerial bombs, equipped with universal planning and correction modules, are usually used to destroy targets, which ensures high accuracy of destruction.
Successful Russian strikes on enemy UAV units are increasingly being recorded in the reports of the Ministry of Defense.
So, on May 26 and June 2, the military department reported the destruction of drone control points, strongholds and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of responsibility of the Yuzhnaya group of forces by the crews of Su-34 bombers.
And on May 29, the Su-34 struck a temporary deployment point and an accumulation of enemy personnel in the Zapad group's area of operations.
Currently, aerial bombs equipped with UMPK modules are the main means of attacking front—line aircraft, military expert Yuri Lyamin told Izvestia.
"UMPC bombs have been used by Russian pilots for a long time," he explained. — Their planning module allows you to deliver well-aimed strikes at targeted targets, which has been demonstrated more than once during their training. Even representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine claimed the effectiveness of Russian guided aerial bombs.

The use of bombs with planning modules allows front-line aviation to strike targets without entering the enemy's active air defense zone, the expert notes.
— Such bombs can be launched from a distance of tens of kilometers from the line of contact, — said Yuri Lyasmin. — This makes the work of our VKS as safe as possible.
At the same time, the bombs themselves with such a module are not very expensive in terms of cost. Due to this, they can be used in large quantities, explained Yuri Lyamin.
The bunker won't save you
The possibility of delivering a large number of such strikes makes it possible to deal with unmanned aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"This is especially important in the current situation, when the enemy is increasingly using dispersed and mobile UAV control points,— explained Yuri Lyamin.
Experts note that the use of such a powerful tool as bombs is also due to the peculiarities of the locations of enemy UAV control points.
"The enemy is trying to equip such points in shelters underground," said military expert Viktor Litovkin. — Aerial bombs are capable of piercing the concrete floors of buildings and bunkers, destroying the enemy.
Fighting long-range UAVs
According to experts, bombs from UMPC can also be effectively used against the launch points of aircraft-type drones that are used for strikes on Russian territory.
The control points of such devices are usually located deep behind enemy lines and inaccessible to front-line aviation. However, the launchers themselves are often located much closer to the front line.

At the time of the launch of long-range drones, the calculation is tied to the combat position, a certain window of time appears, during which it is possible to cover the UAV operators and their equipment, he explained.
"UAVs are used to scout such positions, which can conduct aerial reconnaissance tens of kilometers from the front line," Yuri Lyamin explained.
Experts note that the fight against such objects remains one of the most important tasks. Recently, Ukrainian formations have carried out a number of terrorist attacks on targets in Russia.
So, on the night of May 22, enemy UAVs attacked the dormitory of the pedagogical college in Starobilsk in the LPR. More than 20 people were killed in the attack.
In the early morning of June 3, a Ukrainian drone attacked a bus in Yenakiyevo. As a result of the tragedy, eight people were killed and about ten others were injured.
And on June 4, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a commuter train en route Lugansk — Lantratovka. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
They will burn
Methods of dealing with command posts and UAV launch sites are constantly being improved. Recently, Russian troops began using heavy flamethrower systems (TOC) against them. Izvestia wrote that the choice fell on this particular type of weapon because of the characteristics of the ammunition used by it.

Thermobaric shells used in CBT form an aerosol cloud during an explosion, which can penetrate basements and dugouts. After detonation, the mixture burns out and destroys everything around. This method of fighting is more effective than high-explosive attacks, as the enemy increasingly places points in specially fortified shelters and underground.
The order of operation of CBT is similar to aviation. UAV scout operators detect the target and transmit information about its location to the crew. After that, the equipment promptly leaves its hiding place and fires a salvo at the received coordinates. After receiving confirmation of the enemy's destruction, the CBT quickly returns to a safe place.
