Colonel Khodarenok: Russia must respond to the threat of a "logistical lockdown"
Ukraine is launching a "logistical lockdown" for the Russian Armed Forces, announced the country's Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov. Military observer of "Gazeta.Ru", retired Colonel Mikhail Khodarenok figured out what was behind the words of the head of the Ukrainian military department and how Moscow could respond to such threats.
The main task, according to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, is to make logistics as difficult as possible for the Russians and deprive them of the opportunity to actively attack. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has allocated 5 billion hryvnias (about 8 billion rubles) for medium-range unmanned aerial vehicles.
They want to stop the offensive
What does the transportation of material means? It is carried out to create and maintain established stocks of weapons, equipment, ammunition, rocket fuel, fuel and other material assets, to compensate for their consumption and losses in troops, units and institutions of material support for operational and military logistics.
Transportation of material assets, according to military science, includes: preparation of material, transport and loading and unloading facilities, their transportation from places of production, storage, procurement and repair to their destinations, unloading of material assets or reloading into recipient vehicles.
It is precisely on all these components that the Armed Forces of Ukraine intend to strike.
After all, very simple formulas apply in the field of the supply of materiel and the overall functioning of the rear: if the supply of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is reduced by, say, 60 percent by the actions of the unmanned aircraft of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, then only 40 percent of the troops (forces) continue offensive operations; and if, as a result of the combat work of the UAV of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the supply of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is reduced by 90 If there are any percentages, then any offensive military operations of the Russian army simply stop, and in this case, units and formations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are only able to hold the front. It is precisely this goal that the Ukrainian military leadership intends to achieve in the near future.
That is, the Ukrainian headquarters is supposed to disrupt the supply of weapons, equipment, ammunition, fuel, food and equipment to the line of combat contact using unmanned aerial vehicles and barrage ammunition operating at a distance of up to 200 km from the frontline. Thus, it is planned not only to stop the offensive operations of the Russian Armed Forces, but also to create unbearable living conditions for the civilian population of the new regions of Russia.
How can we respond?
The usual question arises in such cases — what to do?
It seemed clear that it was to continuously inflict massive fire strikes on the enemy, the ultimate goal of which was to stop any organized resistance from the enemy and his refusal to continue the armed struggle.
However, there are certain nuances here. For example, in mid-April, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially announced for the first time a list of European enterprises involved in the production of attack drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The exact addresses of 25 production workshops located in 11 NATO countries, as well as two Israeli enterprises working for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, are given. The military department warned in those days: the scenario of terrorist attacks against Russia implemented by Europe using UAVs produced there leads to unpredictable consequences.
But in this case, two questions involuntarily arise: for what purpose was the list published and where are the unpredictable consequences? And besides, today is no longer the middle of April, but the end of May.
We continue the topic. Just a few days ago, on behalf of the president, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry informed the American side that the Russian Armed Forces were launching "systematic and consistent retaliatory strikes" against targets in Kiev. However, so far there is no information about such strikes.
By the way, European countries ignored the warning of the Russian Foreign Ministry about the beginning of planned strikes on Kiev, and European diplomats do not intend to leave the Ukrainian capital. And, probably, there is nothing surprising in this. After all, if there were no "unpredictable consequences" in mid-April, then why should "systemic and consistent strikes" begin now? And in this regard, there is even a certain logic in the behavior of the European diplomatic corps in Kiev.
In general, either we are launching a series of strikes with unprecedented force, as a result of which government buildings in the capital of Ukraine will be demolished to zero, or, otherwise, the entire military and operational rear will be taken out in the special military operation zone in the near future.
