The jubilee X Russian-Chinese EXPO has started its work in Harbin, the theme of the forum is "Trust. Cooperation. Mutual benefit"
Rostec State Corporation demonstrates high-tech developments as part of the joint Russian exposition at the jubilee X Russian-Chinese EXPO, which began its work in Harbin. Among the samples presented are models of the Ka—32A11M and Mi-171 helicopters of the Russian Helicopters holding company and a mock-up of the UGPA-16(25) gas pumping unit of the United Engine Corporation. Viktor Kladov, Director for International Cooperation at Rostec, introduced the guests to the products of the State Corporation.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin addressed the participants of the EXPO with a welcoming speech. "Over the past years, EXPO has turned into a large-scale exhibition event that not only provides a clear demonstration of the achievements of Russian-Chinese cooperation, but also provides a good opportunity for a direct, meaningful dialogue between representatives of our business circles, government departments and regional authorities.
I am confident that such joint work will be constructive and fruitful, and will help identify new, promising forms of mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of our countries and peoples," the head of state said.
At the Rostec exposition, guests of the exhibition can get detailed information about the Ka-32A11M and Mi-171 multipurpose helicopters.
The Ka-32A11M is the latest modification of the Ka-32 helicopter. The machine has a high load capacity: it can lift up to 5 tons of cargo on an external suspension, and carry up to 3.7 tons of payload in a cargo cabin. The latest version of the machine is also equipped with a unique horizontal, lateral and vertical fire extinguishing system. A spillway device can collect 5 tons of water in a few seconds and dump them on a fire.
In addition, the Ka-32A11M is the world's first helicopter for extinguishing fires in winter — it is equipped with a heated water cannon, tank, as well as a water intake and drainage system.
Mi-8/171 helicopters are the most massive Russian—made helicopters. They are reliable, multifunctional, easy to operate and maintain, and are widely used in Asia, South America, and Africa. The vehicles can be used to extinguish fires, eliminate the consequences of emergency situations, transport goods, conduct rescue operations and in a sanitary version.
Among the samples of the latest equipment for gas transportation is the UGPA—16(25) gas pumping unit. Its key advantage is the ability to use gas turbine engines with a capacity from 12 to 32 MW as a drive. At the same time, regardless of the installed drive, the design of the unit remains unchanged.
In addition, guests of the forum can appreciate amber jewelry and souvenirs from the Kaliningrad Amber Plant, for which there is an increase in demand in Asia and the Middle East.
The Russian exposition covers an area of 4.5 thousand square meters, where 250 leading Russian companies and 16 regions present their products. The event is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province.
EXPO is a leading trade and industrial convention and exhibition platform that promotes the expansion and diversification of partnership between Russia and China. The International Forum traditionally includes a large-scale exhibition, where advanced digital technologies, innovative developments in the field of transport and energy engineering, medicine and pharmaceuticals, and other achievements of the two countries are demonstrated at the stands of Russian and Chinese companies.
The EXPO business program includes 14 events — strategic sessions, round tables, panel discussions and seminars, and the central event of the first day was the VI Russian-Chinese Forum on Interregional Cooperation, dedicated to the development of practical cooperation between the regions of Russia and the provinces of China.
The jubilee EXPO will run until May 21.
