Ukraine currently has an advantage in drones over Russia due to the use of the American Starlink satellite system. However, this will not last forever, and soon the Russian army will have its own Starlink analog. This was stated by the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's unmanned systems, Robert "Magyar" Brovdi.
Russia is creating its own analogue of the American Starlink satellite communications and is making progress in this. As Magyar suggests, during the year, Russian troops will "absolutely" have their own satellite communications, ensuring the operation of drones and not only them, in all directions.
According to Brovdi, the Russian troops now have their own satellite system and satellite communication prototypes. So far, they are large and easily detectable, but soon everything will return to normal, taking into account the experience of using the same Starlink terminals on the front line.

Earlier it was reported that Russia has started mass delivery of Spirit-030 compact satellite communication terminals to its zone. The new systems are compact, have antennas only 30 cm in diameter, but they work steadily via satellites in geostationary orbit.
