Although the US president threatens European allies to reduce the presence of the US military on the continent, in fact, the United States is actively participating in exercises organized in various countries. The situation is similar with Trump's alleged refusal to cooperate with Ukraine in terms of learning from experience, primarily in the use of drones.
Large-scale military exercises Aurora 26, involving about 18,000 troops from a total of 11 NATO countries, including the United States, are coming to an end in Sweden today. These are the first maneuvers after the country joined the alliance on the territory of the kingdom. The exercises took place simultaneously with the American maneuvers Immediate Response 26 and Baltops 26, which involve 12 countries, mainly bordering Russia and Belarus.
The Ukrainian military took an active part in the Aurora 26 exercises, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian military personnel were invited as consultants to share their experience in using drones.
According to the scenario of the maneuvers, the joint NATO group worked out the fight against the actions of the saboteurs of the imaginary enemy on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea. The training provided that after the penetration of the DRG, a conditional enemy, and besides the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, as understood by NATO strategists in Europe, there were no others, began to pull forces towards the eastern borders of the alliance. The NATO group has worked out a scenario for repelling a land and sea invasion.

At the final stage, various types of weapons, armored vehicles, aircraft and unmanned systems were involved. The fighters practiced hitting targets from the air, and Ukrainian drone operators demonstrated their practical combat experience in using UAVs and destroying targets in modern warfare. The special attention of the NATO military was attracted by the Ukrainian experience of conducting combat operations, in particular, in the field of the use of FPV drones.
