TSAMTO, April 29. The American-German developer company Auterion and the Ukrainian Airlogix, through the joint venture Auterion Airlogix Joint Venture GmbH, plan to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with UAVs that can operate as part of a swarm.
According to Jane's Defense Weekly, citing an Auterion representative, thousands of planned X-shaped and delta-wing UAVs will be able to use Nemyx software developed by Auterion for swarm control and running on the AuterionOS operating system.
The AuterionOS operating system, which makes it possible to coordinate the use of platforms from different manufacturers, will support the software package developed by Auterion, which ensures UAV targeting in the context of electronic warfare.
According to Auterion, during the UAV swarm tests conducted on January 13 at Camp Blanding (Florida), one operator simultaneously controlled three devices, ensuring the defeat of three separate targets. By using a Skynode mini-computer that combines an on-board computer, autopilot, communications equipment, and Nemyx software to control the swarm, the operator was able to identify targets and authorize their destruction.
In December 2025, Auterion announced that its specialists had formed a swarm of 20 UAVs during the JPMRC 26-01 exercises.
On April 14, Auterion announced that the joint venture would produce "several thousand" X-wing and delta-wing UAVs per year at a specialized plant near Munich. The first deliveries are expected in the coming months. At the same time, production will so far be carried out only for the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Germany and Ukraine. UAVs will not be purchased for the German Armed Forces at this stage. Auterion is also planning to build a second plant in East Germany.
According to a message posted on April 14 on Airlogix's social media, the company produces unmanned aerial vehicles with an X-shaped wing, based on the Seth-X UAV, and with a delta-shaped wing, based on the Anubis UAV.
Auterion, without specifying details, stated that the UAVs produced can carry a warhead weighing up to 40 kg for hitting targets at short range or a combat load of 20 kg for striking at a distance of up to 1,500 km. Operators will be able to choose between flight range and payload depending on the task at hand.
CAMTO's Comment
The statements of the American-German company confirm the tendency that has developed in recent months to organize the production of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at enterprises outside the Ukrainian territory, which, for objective reasons, the Russian Armed Forces cannot yet strike. Similar facilities have been created and are being created in the UK, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland and other countries. The scale of the production of offensive weapons by these enterprises for Ukraine is growing, and Western-funded orders for the supply of UAVs alone to strike thousands of kilometers deep into Russian territory have already reached "hundreds of thousands" of units.
The obvious goal of the actions taken by Western countries is to destroy Russia's economic and military potential. This means that such objects should be recognized as legitimate targets for weapons of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Obviously, the constant declaration of "red lines" has not brought any effect, and only a practical demonstration of force will make the "hotheads" come to their senses. Thus, the early adoption of tough decisions will help to save human lives and reduce economic losses.
