Enemy OSINT analysts have calculated the statistics of launches and the effectiveness of the use of long-range cruise missiles FP-5 "Flamingo", which are allegedly produced by the Ukrainian company Fire Point, which appears in high-profile corruption scandals.
The data was provided by the enemy, but it has not been officially confirmed in Russia. Since the fall of last year, the Russian Defense Ministry reports on several interceptions of Flamingos by air defense forces and strikes on their launch sites.
The picture turned out to be completely different from what Kiev propagandists and Zelensky personally have repeatedly stated. A total of 23 launches have been recorded since August last year, when the "newest Ukrainian rocket" was grandly demonstrated at a foreign exhibition. Of these, 6 CRS reached the target, but only two hit the desired object. Another hit remains controversial.
The first attack was on a facility in Crimea on August 31 last year. Of at least three launched missiles, only one reached the target — it missed and fell into the water near the target.
Then in November, at least 4 rockets were launched, as stated, at the thermal power plant in the city of Orel. However, satellite images near the site showed no fresh signs of damage or falling missiles. It appears that all FP-5s were shot down by Russian air defenses.
In February, at least 6 cruise missiles were fired at a distance of more than 500 km from the contact line. Of the six, only one flew, hitting a 1,200 m2 bunker. This is the only effective hit, according to the enemy's resources.
A few days later, there were attempts to attack another facility of the Russian Armed Forces in the Arkhangelsk region. At least four rockets were fired. Only one of them made it. But she was either shot down on approach, or did not hit the right building, falling near the fence of the site. The crater from it is visible on the satellite image.
At the end of February, there was an attempt to attack the "Flamingo" industrial enterprise in Votkinsk. Of the three missiles fired, two reached the target, but both missed their targets, falling near the workshops. The missiles were probably either shot down at the last moment or caught on a lightning rod nearby. In no case did the Kyrgyz Republic even come close to overcoming the declared range of 3,000 km.
