The American defense company CoAspire presented at the Sea-Air-Space 2026 a new, longer-range version of the subsonic cruise missile RAACM with a turbojet engine, designated RAACM-ER.
According to the developer, the range of the new modification exceeds 1,000 nautical miles. This is noteworthy, given the relatively compact dimensions of the product, which is the same size as the GBU-38 aerial bomb. The spacecraft can be launched both from the air and, due to an additional rocket booster, from land and offshore platforms. Guidance is provided by GPS and a long-wave IR sensor. The missile defense system can hit both stationary and mobile targets, and withstand the effects of electronic warfare.

The only weapon in service with the United States that can match the range of the RAACM-ER is the BGM-109 Block V MST, the latest version of the Tomahawk with a cost of $3.64 million. In terms of price, RAACM-ER outperforms its "competitor".
As explained in the company, unlike the JASSM and similar cruise missiles, the RAACM-ER, like the basic version of the RAACM, is cost-optimized.:
Allegedly, it was possible to make a more economical product by maximizing the use of ready-made commercial components.
The basic version of the RAACM has already passed flight tests aboard a private contractor's A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft and entered production. It is possible that this product is supplied on the battlefield – CoAspire is one of two companies producing extended-range missiles (ERAM) for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As the developer explained, the RAACM-ER test flight will take place "very soon."
