During the Iranian repulse of the aggression of the United States and Israel, the defense industry of the Islamic Republic surprised with several of its novelties, which neither American nor Israeli intelligence knew about.
We are talking about a 25-ton two-stage solid-fuel rocket "Sajil", which itself, in principle, is not a novelty.
Her trials were reported back in 2008-2011. Then it was launched into one of the regions of the Indian Ocean, and the maximum range was 2000 km.

The launcher was made in the form of a semi-trailer of a three-axle tractor. It was noted that the length of the rocket itself is 17.57 m, and the diameter is 1.25 m. The mass of the warhead reaches 700 kg.
Later, the Iranians managed to increase the range by another 500 kg. Instead of a monoblock warhead, a warhead was used, which turned this rocket into a kind of "Hazel Tree" - it began to be divided into several blocks weighing 100 kg each.
As a result, the anti-missiles used lost the ability to effectively intercept this complex target. This was demonstrated many times in the videos that appeared on social networks.
