One of the air defense units of the aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps managed to hit another US MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance drone ("Reaper").
The aircraft was intercepted in the sky near the city of Shiraz (Fars province) in southern Iran. He was monitored through a tele-thermal imaging system.

The overseas drone was overtaken by a high-speed rocket, which, apparently, had a non-contact fuse. The UAV was hit by shrapnel, but it continued to fly, however, caught fire and, leaving a plume of white smoke, began to move away.

Of course, there is a possibility that the Reaper could have made an emergency landing at some base on the territory of one of the monarchies located in the Persian Gulf zone, but it is very small. Most likely, his fate will become known in the near future.

Earlier it was reported that the Americans lost about 12 MQ-9 Reapers. Apparently, the Israelis have lost even more.
