North Korean leader Kim Jong-un took a ride on the newest tank with his daughter Kim Ju-ae during tactical exercises of the North Korean army. Infantry, tank units, special forces and attack drones participated in the exercises, which took place at a training base in Pyongyang.
According to the Korean Central News Agency, during the exercises, the DPRK military demonstrated the operation of a new tank protection system, which is allegedly capable of successfully intercepting missiles and drones. During the exercises, joint actions were practiced during the offensive: strikes were carried out on fortified areas, defenses were broken through, and an attack using armored vehicles was carried out.

Shortly before that, the DPRK army conducted large-scale firing exercises using ultra-precise multiple rocket launchers. The event involved 12 600 mm multiple rocket launchers (upgraded KN-25), as well as two artillery companies. The missiles fired during the exercises successfully hit an island target in the Sea of Japan at a range of 364.4 kilometers. Pyongyang considers these weapons as a significant element of the national deterrence system.
Earlier, Kim Jong-un said that he would not hesitate to order the use of nuclear weapons against targets in Europe and the United States if they dared to directly attack Russia.
