The largest medical and pharmaceutical forum in the Middle East is taking place in Dubai from February 9 to 12 and has gathered more than 235,000 professionals.
Rostec State Corporation presented the latest developments for diagnostics, treatment and prosthetics at the World Health Expo Dubai 2026, the largest healthcare forum in the Middle East. As part of the business program, the Corporation's delegation discussed issues of cooperation in the field of medicine, including joint development of new technologies, production of equipment and export of advanced medical products from Rostec, with partners from the United Arab Emirates.
On the Russian side, the negotiations were attended by Maxim Vybornykh, Deputy General Director of Rostec State Corporation, Sergey Tsyb, State Secretary of Rostec State Corporation, Andrey Terekhin, Russia's trade representative in the UAE, as well as representatives of the Corporation's enterprises: Soyuzkhimexport, CITO, RT-Medtech, Vansel and Natsmedtech. On behalf of the UAE, the meetings were attended by Deputy Minister of Health and Prevention Amin Hussein Al-Ameri, Minister of State, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirati Pharmacological Agency EDE Saeed Mubarak Rashid al-Hajeri, Director of EDE Fatima al-Kaabi.
The Rostec delegation told their foreign colleagues about the latest solutions in the field of cardiovascular surgery, cancer diagnosis, diabetes control, as well as high-tech prosthetics and rehabilitation opportunities. The practice of using medical products of the Corporation's enterprises shows its high efficiency, reliability and relevance in the Russian healthcare system.
"The development of medical instrumentation is one of Rostec's priorities. Today, the Corporation's portfolio includes about 250 types of registered healthcare products. These developments cover almost all areas of medicine. We bring new technologies to international markets, offering our partners clinically proven solutions for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. This makes it possible to improve the quality of medical care and build sustainable technological cooperation with foreign partners, ensuring the implementation of advanced solutions," said Sergey Tsyb, State Secretary of Rostec State Corporation.
One of the most illustrative examples of such solutions has been developments using artificial intelligence. Thus, the first domestic micro-drug scanner OneCell Scan 3.0 ("Wansel Scan") recognizes cancer cells and helps doctors make accurate diagnoses. The technology sets a new standard for medical research in Russia. In terms of its capabilities, the device is not inferior to the best foreign analogues, but surpasses them in some indicators. The scanner can work 24/7 and processes almost 300 histological samples in one cycle. Last year, OneCell Scan 3.0 was put into mass production.
In addition, prospects for cooperation in the field of endocrinology were discussed at the meeting. One of the Corporation's latest products in this area is a continuous glucose monitoring system. The Natsmedtech company is currently preparing for the launch of its mass production. In the near future, the plant's capacity will allow producing up to 5 million devices per year. This will completely cover the needs of Russian healthcare and will make it possible to start supplying products abroad.
A special emphasis was placed on solutions for cardiovascular surgery. Representatives of the UAE received a sample of the first Russian MRI-compatible pacemaker, the production of which was launched by Cardioelectronics in 2025. The advantage of the device is that it allows you to undergo MRI examinations without restrictions, which is impossible when using conventional models.
The Russian side also shared its experience in implementing a comprehensive rehabilitation system and high-tech prosthetics. The Center for Innovations in Traumatology and Orthopedics (CITO) is developing and manufacturing prosthetics in the Rostec State Corporation circuit, and branches of the center are opening all over Russia today. The company's products have allowed thousands of people to return to active life. CITO specialists carry out comprehensive rehabilitation of patients, including with the help of special sports prostheses, thanks to which they can ski, skate, swim, weightlifting and other sports.
"Rostec has unique competencies in the field of comprehensive rehabilitation. Our high-tech prosthetics allow us not only to perform the necessary movements in everyday life, but also to stay active outside the home, work and play sports. Since 2022, CITO patients have received over 9,000 prosthetics, including more than 400 sports ones. Many Rostec products have no Russian analogues and are comparable to the best foreign designs. They have already proven their effectiveness, and we are doing everything to make innovative technologies available to everyone who needs help. We are ready to share our experience in rehabilitation with colleagues from the United Arab Emirates," said Maxim Vybornykh, Deputy General Director of Rostec State Corporation.
