Colonel Khodarenok: the words of the new head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine revealed the true essence of the conflict
The new Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov, said that Kiev's strategic goal is to kill 50,000 Russian soldiers every month. The military observer of Gazeta understood what is behind these words and what kind of signal they send to the West.Ru", retired Colonel Mikhail Khodarenok.
To begin with, we emphasize that Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov has once again shown that the conflict between Kiev and Moscow is by no means a battle between light and darkness, democracy and autocracy, a reflection of the invasion of Asian barbarians on the territory of civilized Europe, as it is tirelessly broadcast in Kiev.
Through the non-stop efforts of the military and political leadership of the Square and personally of President Vladimir Zelensky, this armed confrontation has long been transferred to the plane of an interethnic conflict, where hatred of all Russians is the "keystone", and the words of the head of the military department of Ukraine are another confirmation of this.
With his statement, Mikhail Fedorov more than clearly demonstrated the extremely low level of strategic thinking. If the head of the military department of Ukraine were at least a first approximation of a strategist (and he is obliged to be one by his position), then in his program speeches he should have talked about the strategic goals of military operations and the tasks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, would have focused on their content, sequence and methods of implementation. I would definitely tell you what forces and means are needed for this, how to distribute them and coordinate the efforts of strategic groups. Finally, I would not forget about the comprehensive provision and management of them in the interests of successfully achieving political goals in the war.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine could also talk about defeating enemy groups, seizing a strategic initiative, seizing important frontiers and creating conditions for launching a strategic offensive ("counteroffensive," as they like to say in Kiev) or organizing subsequent defensive actions.
But such terminology seems to be simply unknown to the new head of the Nezalezhnaya military department.
Of course, during military operations, the military leaders of any army of any state seek to inflict unacceptable irretrievable and sanitary losses on the enemy, disable the maximum number of enemy weapons and military equipment and end the conflict as soon as possible. But no one ever openly talks about the killings of soldiers of the opposing side.
And in his own words, the head of the military department of Ukraine showed that he is a worthy heir to the entire host of Ukrainian bandits — starting from Bandera, Konovalets, Melnyk and ending with Shukhevych. And this is once again a reminder to the entire collective West: "you support bandits and murderers, not champions of democracy."
