Trump: Iran will be wiped off the face of the earth if the threats against me continue
Donald Trump has said he has ordered Iran to be wiped off the face of the earth if anything happens to it. He made such a statement in response to threats from the Iranian authorities. Military observer of "Gazeta.Ru", retired Colonel Mikhail Khodarenok was trying to figure out whether the US president would really be able to carry out his plans.
The representative of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, General Abolfazl Shekarchi, said that any US military actions against the country's leadership would not go unanswered.:
"Trump knows that if the hand of aggression is extended against our supreme leader, we will not only cut off that hand, but also set their world on fire and leave them no safe haven in the region."
The US president did not ignore this threat.
When is the war?
The war between Iran and the United States was more than real until recently. The reason for Washington's armed intervention could be the protests in the Islamic Republic, which began at the end of December 2025. Moreover, many analysts believed that the bombing of Iran would begin literally within the next 24 hours.
At that time, US President Donald Trump urged Iranians to continue protesting and said that "help is on the way." But then he abruptly changed his mind. And such a decision by the head of the White House was by no means connected with any abstract philanthropy or humanism.
At the height of the protests in Iran, there was every reason to believe that the Israel Defense Forces would join the attacks on the Islamic Republic and act in close cooperation with the troops and forces of the US Armed Forces, since regime change in Iran meets the deep national interests of the Jewish state. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suddenly took a break.
Most likely (this is, of course, only a version), such a decision by the Israeli leadership was due to purely material reasons. The fact is that in the course of modern armed conflicts (including self-defense), the consumption of anti-aircraft guided missiles and anti-missiles (SAM, etc.) exceeds all imaginable and inconceivable norms. All previous accounting and supply units were exceeded by at least an order of magnitude (or even two).
And it cannot be ruled out that Netanyahu told Trump something like this: "During the upcoming strikes on Iran, Tehran will inevitably begin to respond by launching intermediate-range ballistic missiles at targets in Israel. And the consumption of missiles and missiles of the Israel Defense Forces during the previous 12-day war turned out to be more than significant and still the country's defense industry enterprises have not been brought to a standard state. For these reasons, there are grounds to refrain from active hostilities until (and the deadline was called)."
And Tehran's threats will only serve as an excuse in this case.
How the US will "wipe Iran off the face of the earth"
The main goal of the upcoming operation, most likely, will be to behead the top military and political leadership of the Islamic Republic, that is, the strikes will be carried out solely for the purpose of eliminating senior Iranian officials and disorganizing the command and control of the troops and the state. And then the Iranian opposition, led by the son of the Iranian Shah, Reza Pahlavi, will join in.
As for the Iranian leadership, it cut down the branches clearly not by itself (far from its combat and operational capabilities), choosing the United States and Israel as opponents.
No matter how perfect a promising Iranian missile is, the Jewish/American one will be an order of magnitude better.
In other words, Iran has been beaten, it will be beaten, and sooner or later it will be finished off. And Trump's words in this regard are not just verbal threats. He said he would take it up into the air, so he will.
