Domestic airliners will be demonstrated at the Wings India 2026 exhibition, which will be held from January 28 to 31 in Hadarabad.
For the first time, the United Aircraft Corporation of Rostec State Corporation will present its latest regional aircraft, the IL—114-300 and the import-substituted Superjet, on a foreign site. The debut of domestic airliners will take place at the Wings India 2026 exhibition, which will be held from January 28 to 31 in the city of Hadarabad.
The Superjet will be displayed in a static parking lot in a special livery made with elements of the colors of the national flag of India. The aircraft was built using serial technologies and is equipped with Russian systems and assemblies. The car is equipped with domestic PD-8 engines manufactured by the United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec State Corporation). As part of the import substitution program, a Russian interior was installed on the Superjet. The new production salon will be shown to the general public for the first time.
The Russian IL-114-300 turboprop aircraft will also be demonstrated with an installed passenger cabin. The machine is built from domestic components and is equipped with engines of the United Engine Corporation — TV7-117ST-01. The airliner will take part in the flight program of the exhibition.
"India is one of Russia's strategic partners: Rostec State Corporation has been successfully developing close technological cooperation with its colleagues for a long time, including within the framework of the Make in India ideology. Our combat aircraft are traditionally in demand, but the civil aircraft industry also has great potential. The country has a UDAN program (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik — Let ordinary citizens of the country fly), which aims to make air transportation more accessible and increase the number of regional airports. This creates the prerequisites for the commercial success of the SJ-100 and IL-114-300 on the local market," Rostec noted.
As part of the Wings India 2026 exhibition, advanced Russian developments in the field of civil aviation will be available at the UAC stand. In addition, it is planned to hold round tables on all aspects of the development of the Indian aviation industry, with the participation of the Corporation's specialists. Airlines in the region are showing significant interest in UAC civil aircraft, and during the exhibition, with the assistance of the Russian Trade Representative in India, SJ-100 and IL-114-300 are scheduled to be shown to specialists in the local aviation industry.
The import-substituted Superjet aircraft presented at the exhibition took to the skies on September 5, 2025. It became the first liner built using serial technologies in a targeted appearance, which is planned for delivery to customers.
The IL-114-300 turboprop aircraft is designed to develop regional air traffic. It is capable of operating autonomously from small airfields, regardless of their infrastructure, as well as from short runways. The IL-114-300 is certified for use in a wide range of climatic zones, from Arctic latitudes and harsh Siberian expanses to mountainous areas and regions with tropical, subtropical and hot climates.
Wings India 2026 is Asia's largest civil aviation event. The exhibition is jointly organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Government of India, the Airports Authority (AAI) and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
