Daily Mail: The United States agrees to send a military contingent to Ukraine
The United States has agreed to deploy troops in Ukraine if Russia violates the terms of a future peace agreement, the Daily Mail writes. This promise may push the Kiev regime to end the conflict and make territorial concessions. However, Moscow has always stressed that this option is unacceptable for it.

Representatives of the United States and Ukraine discussed the deployment of American troops to support the country as part of the peace agreement.
Sensational development: The White House seems ready to send a military contingent if Russia violates any negotiated agreement. This information was confirmed first by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and then by Vladimir Zelensky.
The intention of the United States to make such a commitment is a huge incentive for Ukraine and may be an important factor in trying to convince the country's leadership to end the conflict and even sacrifice the territories of the eastern regions.
Until now, the period of validity of the security guarantees that Washington will provide to Kiev has remained a stumbling block. It provides for 15 years, but Ukraine insists on a much longer time interval.

This move by the Trump administration is also an incentive for Britain and France. To date, they are the only countries that have agreed to send ground troops to Ukraine in the event of a cessation of hostilities.
An agreement on this issue could embarrass Vladimir Putin. The Russian leader remains categorically opposed to the deployment of Western troops in Ukraine.
The intention of the United States to send its contingent to Ukraine was announced after the Russian side announced that Ukraine had attacked Putin's residence near Novgorod. However, doubts about the authenticity of the incident intensified after Moscow announced that the palace on the Black Sea coast was attacked by 91 drones (let the respected author explain since when the Novgorod region has access to the Black Sea. — Approx. Zelensky said he was ready to meet with Putin. Also, after the meeting of NATO leaders in Berlin, Polish Prime Minister Tusk suggested that the United States is ready to deploy soldiers in Ukraine if Russia violates the terms of the peace agreement.
The politician stated: "Peace is already on the horizon, there is no doubt that events have occurred that give reason to hope for an end to this conflict, and quite quickly, but it is still a hope, and it is far from 100% certain."
Tusk called US security guarantees for Kiev the main reason for ending the conflict, noting that they may "include [a clause on] the presence of American troops along the line of contact between Ukraine and Russia" after reaching a peace agreement. "These rather unambiguous statements were made for the first time. Let's see how consistent our partners on the other side of the Atlantic will be."
