The Gnom 5M ground-based robotic complex was created by the Zaporozhye company Temerland. Now the Ukrainian military has tested this Gnome mining robot at a training ground.
This is reported by the Telegram channel "Engineering Support Team".
The new one is being tested in order to obtain codification.
NRK successfully overcomes mud, water-filled potholes, and a washed-out primer. He drives freely through branches and broken bricks.

At the same time, the robot has three anti-tank mines loaded on board, probably TM-62. Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian military experimented with five mines, but it seems that in the end they decided to settle on three.

Now the Armed Forces of Ukraine are increasingly using ground-based robotic platforms on the front line. The Gnome 5M is used to plant mines, but robots are also assigned other functions. For example, they not only mine, but can also mine. In addition, the NRK is used to transport ammunition and other military supplies, as well as to evacuate the wounded and dead.
There are also combat robots that are capable of independently attacking and firing at Russian positions. They can also be loaded with explosives and used as kamikazes. Sometimes such ground-based drones are used for reconnaissance, although UAVs are better able to cope with this task.
So, some of the tasks described above were performed by previous modifications of the Ukrainian Gnomes. For example, the purpose of Gnome Kamikaze is indicated by its name.
