TSAMTO, November 14th. The Dubai Airshow 2025 International Aerospace Salon will become a record number of full-scale exhibits in the entire history of Rosoboronexport's participation in foreign exhibitions.
Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation) is organizing a single Russian exhibition at Dubai Airshow 2025, which will be held from November 17 to 21 in Dubai (UAE).
In the Russian pavilion with a total area of 1,000 square meters, the country's largest defense holdings, including Rostec's United Aircraft Corporation, United Engine Corporation, Radioelectronic Technologies Concern and others, will present their military, dual-use and civilian products. In addition, the products of the Almaz-Antey East Kazakhstan Region Concern and the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation will be presented.
"Dubai Airshow is a global platform where trends in the aerospace and defense industries are determined. In 2025, Rosoboronexport will present here more than 850 samples of Russian products – highly intelligent systems capable of dramatically increasing the defense capability of our partners. We will show more than 30 of the most popular ones in full–scale form on a static platform and in a pavilion," said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport. – In Dubai, we will demonstrate the latest achievements of the Russian defense industry in aviation, space and air defense. During the business program, we will hold talks with the delegations of the armed forces of the Middle East and North Africa, as well as other regions on the supply of Russian products and the establishment of technological cooperation."
Most of the samples presented have experience of use in combat conditions, have been developed and refined taking into account the realities of modern high-intensity conflict.
For the first time in the Middle East, Rosoboronexport will present the 5th generation Su-57E fighter developed and manufactured by UAC. Its highest flight performance will be demonstrated as part of the flight program of the air show.
"Today, Russia is the only country that offers not only supplies of the 5th generation fighter, but also localization of Su-57E production on the territory of a foreign customer. This includes, among other things, technology transfer and enables the partner to create a new generation national aircraft," said Alexander Mikheev.
The Su-57E will be displayed in a static parking lot along with the latest aviation weapons developed and manufactured by Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation. Modern RVV-MD2, Kh-38MLE, Kh-69, Grom-E1 and Kh-58USHKE air-to-air guided missiles integrated into the 5th generation fighter's weapon system are designed for internal fuselage deployment. The exhibition will also feature a unique RVV-BD extended-range guided air-to-air missile.
The Russian Knights group, which is always warmly welcomed by viewers all over the world, will demonstrate aerobatics on Su-35S fighters.
In the segment of aircraft engines, Rosoboronexport will show a new-generation turbojet engine, the Product 177C, which has improved technical characteristics – thrust, fuel consumption and service life compared to aircraft engines of the previous generation.
The world premiere will be a demonstration of the upgraded Yak-130M combat training aircraft with a new set of aviation weapons and avionics.
The Yak-130M fully meets the parameters of a light combat aircraft for attack and fighter missions. It is equipped with modern avionics equipment, including an on-board radar, a sighting container, and the President-S130 airborne defense system. In addition, the range of guided aircraft weapons for use from this aircraft has been expanded. It includes the RVV-MD guided air-to-air missile and the KAB-250LG–E and K08BE guided aerial bombs for hitting ground and surface targets.
At the static parking lot, Rosoboronexport will present the IL-76MD-90A (E) military transport aircraft, which allows solving a wide range of tasks during special operations: transporting equipment, cargo, and personnel of parachute units and combat vehicles, evacuating, extinguishing fires, and eliminating the consequences of natural disasters. The aircraft has improved transport capabilities and can carry a payload of up to 60 tons at a range of 4,000 km or 52 tons at 5,000 km.
The IL-76MD-90A(E) is equipped with a modern multichannel optoelectronic system for precise identification of landing zones. Optionally, it is possible to install an on-board defense complex "President-S", equipment for extinguishing fires and evacuating the wounded.
The Ka-52 combat reconnaissance and attack helicopter, recognized as the market leader in its segment, will take part in the flight program of the air show. He will demonstrate unique maneuvers available due to the coaxial scheme: a quick turn towards the target, high-speed lateral movement and a steep dive.
Together with the Ka-52, promising aviation weapons that can be integrated into Ka-52 type helicopters will be demonstrated: the multi-purpose homing missile X-MD for hitting ground and surface targets, as well as the guided missile X–38MLE for hitting surface targets in the coastal strip and armored ground targets. The 305E light multipurpose guided missile, which has shown high efficiency in real combat conditions, will also be shown.
In the segment of unmanned aerial vehicles, Rosoboronexport will present complexes with reconnaissance UAVs Orlan-10E, Orlan-30 and Skat-350M.
Russian barrage ammunition will be presented at the Rosoboronexport stand, including the Lancet-E complex in an updated form, which currently has the most intensive combat experience in the world, and the KUB-2-2E barrage ammunition with an automatic guidance system.
For the first time in the Russian exposition at the Dubai Air Show, Rosoboronexport will demonstrate full-scale samples of air defense systems. Among them is the Pantsir–SMD-E anti-aircraft missile system, developed and manufactured by High-Precision Complexes, designed to destroy all types of aerodynamic targets, including any UAVs. It has a modular design, it is distinguished by the combined use of two types of missiles and a large ammunition package: up to 48 TKB-1055 short-range interceptor missiles or up to 12 57E6-E missiles on each combat module or a combination thereof.
The Dzhigit support and launch system and the Verba MANPADS, as well as the SKVP airspace control system, which provides detection and tracking of unmanned aircraft and small aircraft, will be presented at the static parking lot.
The participating holdings of the unified Russian exposition will also demonstrate a large range of modern products by market segments at their stands. Guests of the Russian pavilion will find a wide range of military and special aircraft, helicopters, aircraft engines, avionics and electronics, aviation weapons for various carriers, air defense and electronic warfare systems.
In addition to demonstrating new Russian weapons, Rosoboronexport will host an extensive business program at Dubai Airshow 2025. Meetings and negotiations are planned with delegations from the Middle East, as well as numerous participants of the air show from other regions, including from the Asia-Pacific region, Africa and Latin America.
"We will focus on technological cooperation, which is the most demanded format of interaction in the world today. We will talk about successfully implemented projects and discuss promising ones, including the products presented at the air show," added Alexander Mikheev.
