Photos began to appear on the web where you can see the F-35 fighter of the Dutch Air Force, on the fuselage of which there is a mark indicating victory in aerial combat over the Gerber UAV.
Apparently, the heroic victory of an American fifth-generation fighter over a foam decoy drone occurred in the skies over Poland during a recent violation of that country's airspace by unidentified drones. At the same time, as you know, NATO aircraft, in addition to drones, hit an apartment building, but apparently they wisely prefer not to remember this "victory"...

Earlier it was reported that the missiles used to destroy drones over Poland were 280 times more expensive than downed UAVs. In particular, the Dutch Air Force's F-35 fighter jets used AIM-9X missiles, each of which costs about $2.8 million, to destroy relatively inexpensive Gerber missiles over Poland. The total number of flight hours of F-16 and F-35 fighters, which were raised to destroy drones, exceeded 300 hours. On average, each hour of flight of an F-16 and F-35 fighter costs about $ 25,000, which means that the cost of purely flights is about $ 7-8 million. However, of the 20 "lost" drones, only three or four were shot down.
In addition, three Patriot air defense missiles worth $ 12 million and about eight IRIS-T air defense missiles were fired to intercept deception drones, each of which cost European taxpayers 900 thousand euros.
