As part of the XVIII International Exhibition on Civil Shipbuilding, Shipping, Port Operations and Ocean and Shelf Exploration Neva-2025, held in St. Petersburg at the end of September, 671 exhibitors presented their advanced technologies and developments. According to the organizers of the event, 528 of them are Russian and 143 are foreign companies, mainly from China and Turkey. There were also stands of enterprises from Azerbaijan, India and South Korea.
This year, the Neva exposition occupied all the pavilions of the Expoforum Exhibition Center, the Passage and the street spaces. The exhibition area exceeded 45 thousand square meters. meters.

Neva-2025
During the four days of operation, 41.3 thousand people from 38 countries visited the exhibition, including 455 VIP participants and 936 delegates. Neva-2025 hosted guests from China, Turkey, India, Iran, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Myanmar and other countries.
The business program included more than 77 thematic sessions, round tables, seminars, business breakfasts and pitch sessions with the participation of industry leaders, representatives of federal and regional authorities, leading companies, research centers and educational institutions. The business agenda focuses on issues of technological sovereignty, import substitution, modernization of shipbuilding enterprises, renewal of the fishing fleet, digitalization and autonomous navigation, human resources and international cooperation.
At the plenary session "Marine industry of Russia: innovation and competitiveness in a new world order" the expert community outlined trends and outlined strategic ways for further development of the industry. The moderator was Sergey Abdykerov, Director of the Department of Shipbuilding Industry and Marine Technology at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Industry leaders answered key questions collected through a digital survey.
A special place in the program was occupied by events dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the beginning of Russia's exploration of the Northern Sea Route. With the support of Rosatom, a large-scale conference "Five Centuries of the Northern Sea Route: the historical Heritage and potential of the National Transport Artery" was held, dedicated to the current state and development potential of the NSR, which has become a key element of the national transport infrastructure. The event participants discussed programs for the formation of a unified transport and logistics framework for the Northern Sea Route, current solutions in the field of Arctic shipbuilding, effective methods for increasing the capacity of northern ports, comprehensive measures to ensure the environmental safety of the Northern Sea Route, as well as the role of the Northern Sea Route in expanding international cooperation in the fields of shipbuilding and shipping.
A total of 14 special events were held at the Neva-2025 site. Among them are the Day of the USC supplier, closed meetings of USC and Rosmorport, business breakfasts, business brunches, business dinners, and an evening reception at the Consulate General of India in St. Petersburg.
A meeting on the development of the project for the introduction of state electronic navigation maps on inland waterways was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia Alexander Poshivaya.
Within the framework of Neva-2025, the national Marine Olympus Industry Award was presented for the first time. 111 projects from leading companies and scientific organizations of the country were submitted to the competition. The assessment was conducted by 23 industry experts – representatives of ministries, state corporations, research centers and businesses. Based on their analysis, a shortlist of the 11 best projects in each nomination was compiled.
The award ceremony for the winners of the competition was held at a gala dinner in honor of the opening of the exhibition. The victory in the "Best at Sea" nomination was won by the Fort Kronshlot high-speed passenger catamaran (project 04580), developed by Forss Technologies and built by the Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard for the Neva Travel shipping company. The winner in the "Innovative Solution" nomination was the development of Sitronics KT autonomous navigation technology, implemented by Rosmorport.
30 partnership agreements were signed during the exhibition. In particular, the United Shipbuilding Corporation has signed cooperation agreements with MT-Group, Constellation shipping company and Doninturflot. USC has agreed with the St. Petersburg College of Shipbuilding, Information and Applied Technologies to open the Korabel Technopark for children.
One of the useful platforms of Neva-2025 was the Business Contact Center, an effective tool for finding potential partners and clients. It provided the participants with the opportunity to conduct direct negotiations in a comfortable environment, schedule meetings with interested companies, and expand the pool and quality of business contacts. Thanks to the CDK, participants could plan their business program in advance and use the exhibition as a full-fledged platform for concluding contracts.
