Bayraktar TB3
In early September, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the adoption of the Bayraktar TB3 attack UAV by the ground forces. Selcuk Bayraktar, the head of Baykar, the company that manufactures this drone, explained its differences from the previous version.
TB3 weighs 1,500 thousand kg (with up to 300 kg of ammunition), while TB2 weighs 750 kg (150 kg of ammunition). The increased payload is due to the use of a new power plant, thanks to which the TB3 can also reach higher altitudes (10,000 m) and spend more time in flight. So, during the tests, he continuously stayed in the air for 32 hours, having overcome 5,700 km.

TTX Bayraktar TB2
- the developer explained.
TB3 is capable of operating from short runways, which allows it to be used from aircraft carriers such as the helicopter carrier (and the flagship of the Turkish navy) TCG Anadolu. The folding wing makes it possible to be compactly placed on such pennants.
