The American company Lockheed Martin has introduced a new stealth UAV belonging to the class of "partner" drones (Collaborative Combat Aircraft, CCA), designed to accompany traditional manned aircraft in combat.

The new stealth CCA is designed to perform air-to-air, air-to-ground and reconnaissance missions. Different payloads provide the opportunity to participate in a variety of missions. Take-off and landing will be carried out on conventional runways. The range of its action is not called, but it is said that it meets the conditions of the Indo-Pacific, European and Central Command of the US Armed Forces. The developer declined to disclose information about the engine, but it was stated that the UAV does not require supersonic flight.
The first flight of the Vectis prototype is scheduled for the next two years. Apparently, this device may be in demand in the export market. The interest in such drones was announced by the German Air Force. It is planned to sell it "at a competitive price".
