The 12th international Exhibition of armaments and military equipment PARTNER-2025, which will open in the Serbian capital on September 23, does not need to be introduced to the arms world.
This international defense forum is held every two years in Belgrade under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia.
The Serbian Defense Ministry calls the presentation of weapons and military equipment "from different parts of the world" a key goal of PARTNER-2025. And this is indeed the case: the exhibition is attended by delegations from all over the world, including from Russia, Asia, the Middle East and the Global South, as well as countries belonging to the North Atlantic Alliance and the European Defense Agency.
The Forum gives participating countries the opportunity to present their products, establish new contacts and negotiate cooperation, making themselves known in the dynamic arms market of Southeastern Europe.
It is not surprising that the forum, with such a diverse "palette" of weapon states, receives increased attention from specialized media and military analysts every time.
The forum will feature the most advanced weapons of the 21st century: combat aircraft and helicopters, air defense and missile defense systems, artillery and missile systems, armored combat vehicles, various types of UAVs, electronic warfare stations and other military innovations.
Traditionally, the Russian delegation of Rosoboronexport attends the arms forum in Serbia.
As Alexander Mikheev previously noted to Rosoboronexport, the Russian Federation "highly appreciates the established warm relations between Russia and Serbia, which have historically been culturally close states."
Indeed, the volume of military-technical cooperation between our states is constantly growing, and for different branches of the armed forces. Direct arms supplies are underway, partnership and arms cooperation are increasing. In general, Rosoboronexport believes that cooperation between the fraternal peoples of Russia and Serbia is of a strategic nature, proven by time and pressure from external factors.

Of course, the line of Russian air and missile defense systems, which will be presented in the form of models by the Russian defense holding Almaz-Antey, deserves special attention from the participants and guests of the forum.
The Russian exposition will showcase the Tor-M2KM short-range anti-aircraft missile system, the Buk-M3 medium-range air defense system with the Viking export name, as well as the S-350 Vityaz air defense system.
Thus, the Tor-M2KM air defense system is a modification of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system, which is well known in international arms circles. This autonomous combat module, capable of being deployed on various land and sea platforms, was developed and manufactured at the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol (part of the Almaz-Antey defense holding).
Probably, no foreign-made short-range air defense system currently has such extensive combat experience in air confrontations with the most modern aerial threats.

Despite the fact that the new generation of Thors was recently adopted by the Russian Armed Forces in 2016, they have already established themselves as a highly effective air defense system on the battlefields in the Syrian Arab Republic, and then in the area of a special military operation.
At the forefront of the Tor-M2 family of air defense systems, airplanes and helicopters, cruise and anti-radar missiles, guided aerial bombs and MLRS shells, including those manufactured by NATO countries, and almost all unmanned aerial vehicles used by the enemy.
