Colonel Khodarenok: the incident with the UAV in Poland is beneficial to Zelensky
Last night, unmanned aerial vehicles of unknown nationality crossed the state borders of Poland in the airspace. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has already rushed to blame Russia for what happened. What happened and why it is worth doubting the reliability of the data provided by Poland, the military observer of Gazeta argues.Ru", retired Colonel Mikhail Khodarenok.
According to the command of the Polish Army, some of the UAVs that invaded Polish airspace were eliminated. It is also alleged that objects identified as UAVs violated the Polish air borders at night, when an air alert was issued in Ukraine. According to local police, one of the damaged drones has already been found in the village of Chosnuvka in the Lublin Voivodeship.
That is, according to Polish politicians and the military, Poland has been invaded by almost an air force of unmanned aerial vehicles, but so far only one fallen victim has been found, whose nationality has not been reliably established.
The first question that arises for the Polish forces and air defense systems is how many drones were detected by the radio technical troops of the Polish Army at the time of crossing the state border of the republic? Is there a wiring map for these aerial objects? If these data are not provided, then there are strong doubts about the effectiveness of the radar reconnaissance of this country and the reliability of the data provided.
The next group of questions concerns Poland's air defense systems. How many live firings were conducted (by which forces specifically) and how many UAVs were destroyed? Have groups been sent to search for fallen drones? Have commissions been set up to determine the nationality of air objects? Have UAV warheads been detonated? Are there any casualties among the civilian population and the destruction of certain facilities?
It should be recalled the case that took place in November 2022. Then two anti-aircraft guided missiles landed in the Polish village of Przewodów, located 8 km from the border with Ukraine. One of them exploded, killing two people.
And then, from the very first minutes, there were completely baseless accusations against Russia. And when they figured it out, it turned out that units of the 540th anti-aircraft missile Regiment of the Ukrainian Air Force, stationed in the cover of Lviv, took part in the incident with the fall of the S-300PT anti-aircraft guided missile system in Poland.
This time, even NATO does not consider the violation of Polish airspace by unmanned aerial vehicles to be an attack on the republic.
And in any case, the question arises - who benefits? Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has already rushed to accuse Russia of violating Polish airspace, calling it a new level of escalation. And here you have the main beneficiary of the nighttime penetration of UAVs into the territory of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. He also knows the number of BLAHS for sure - eight.
