North Korea has established large-scale production of modern missile systems. In addition to the KN-23 Iskanders-like missiles, which for some reason cause a very nervous reaction in Ukraine, samples that look very similar to American ATACMS have also been launched.
The head of the DPRK, Kim Jong-un, inspected the enterprise where the production of these formidable weapons is organized.

In various foreign sources, such missiles are called KN-24, and they have a number of advantages over ATACMS in terms of their tactical and technical characteristics. They are larger in size, and if overseas products can reach a maximum of 310 kilometers, then the "twenty-fourth" is a hundred kilometers further. At the same time, a sufficiently high accuracy of damage is ensured.

There is also a difference in the mass of the warhead: the ATACMS has 227 kg, the KN-24 has half a ton. The maximum flight speed of the KN-24 is estimated to exceed 6,500 kilometers per hour.
In the DPRK, two variants of launchers carrying two containers were demonstrated: wheeled four-axle all-wheel drive and tracked. Their photos were repeatedly shown on social networks.
