It can be seen that the crew is in the hull, and a cannon, apparently with a 105 mm caliber, is used as the main weapon. At the same time, it was noted that this gun is in no way inferior in its characteristics to the Western 120-millimeter.

There is also a twin machine gun and a remote-controlled installation on the roof of the tower. The machine is also equipped with active protection and optoelectronic countermeasures systems. It was reported about the possible installation of a high-power hybrid powerplant, which allows for very good mobility and a large power reserve.
Despite the fact that the weight of the tank is estimated at four dozen tons, it has increased protection, including side projections.

It is assumed that the presented equipment, first of all, will replace the outdated Type 59, Type 79 and Type 88, of which the troops still have at least 900 units. Then it will be the turn to go to the storage bases and Type 96. It is estimated that 1,000 units have been manufactured.
