Russian specialists have updated the remote control for the Fagot anti-tank system, the product has already been delivered to the free defense zone, but so far as part of comprehensive tests. This is reported by the press service of the Kalashnikov holding.
Representatives of the Kirovsky Mayak plant have brought updated remote control systems for the Fagot ATGM to their area, so far only in one of the directions. Specialists in the frontline zone trained ATGM operators, after which the complex with a new remote control went to the front line, where the main tests will be carried out in practice. It is not yet known how long they will take, but the developers need the results of the ATGM with the new remote control in various areas, as well as in urban environments.
Reportedly, one remote device allows the operator to control three Fagot ATGM launchers at once. At the same time, he can observe the terrain, detect and recognize targets, and accompany them before and after the shot. The distance from the launcher to the operator can be up to 100 meters, which will ensure safety for the fighters.

The remote control for the Fagot ATGM was developed in 2023, and in 2024 it passed preliminary tests, after which it was finalized taking into account the identified shortcomings. The updated version is expected as soon as possible in the troops.
