MOSCOW, July 22. /tass/. Omsk developers have created a lightweight flame-throwing system that can be installed, among other things, on the Omich multifunctional ground-based robotic complex (NRTC). This was reported in the Popular Front, which provides support to producers through the Kulibin Club.
"Omich complexes are used to evacuate wounded soldiers, to deliver ammunition, food, fuel - in general, any logistical tasks in the frontline area. The NRTC can carry more than 500 kg, can transport more than a ton on a trailer, can tow passenger cars, minibuses. Omsk is the birthplace of the legendary heavy flamethrower systems Solntsepek and Tosochka. Therefore, together with the cadets and the scientific department of the Omsk Armored Institute, we made a lightweight flamethrower system. Unlike a conventional hand-held grenade launcher, it is capable of launching multiple rocket launchers, which seriously enhances the damaging effect," a representative of the manufacturing company with the call sign Thirtieth told about the principle of operation.
The People's Front noted that the key advantage of the Omich tracked vehicle is its high maneuverability, which allows it to get to and leave locations inaccessible to other vehicles, including overcoming water obstacles a meter or more deep.
