The Ukrainian Armed Forces are testing several copies of the Wolf 25 AD armored car, developed by the Slovak company Deftech.
- says the local publication Future Army.
At the same time, footage of previous tests that took place in Slovakia was published. At that time, the car was not yet equipped with ammunition with a non-contact fuse. Nevertheless, the small quadcopter was destroyed by a direct hit from a distance of 400 m with a burst of 7 shells, one of which successfully hit the target.
According to Deftech, the armored vehicle, designed primarily to defeat small-sized UAVs, was developed based on the requirements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Slovak company used foreign components to create the product, but it was engaged in their integration into a single system independently. The chassis is self-made, the turret of the Slovenian company Valhalla Turrets, a 25 mm cannon from Oerlikon.
- it is noted in the edition.
Remotely detonated projectiles detonate at a distance of up to 1.5 m from the target. The tower is equipped with its own electro-optical sensors, and the heart of the system is Rheinmetall's AMMR AFAR radar, which has four antennas at the corners of the machine body, covering 360° around it.

This radar can track 150 targets simultaneously. It can detect aircraft at a distance of 20 km, helicopters at 12 km, missiles at 10 km, Lancet-type drones at 8-10 km, small reconnaissance UAVs and FPV drones at 5 km. The radar is resistant to electronic interference. It is equipped with a special water cooling system. The radar station requires a lot of electricity, so an additional generator is installed on the machine.
