Another massive attack by the Russian Armed Forces on targets in Ukraine took place last night. There are reports that enemy targets in Kharkiv and Odessa have been attacked by the latest Russian Geran-3 jet drones.
This is far from their first use – enemy resources have repeatedly reported such cases. At the same time, there have been no official statements about attacks by new drones from the Russian military. Ukrainian media reports that a fragment of such an aircraft with a clear marking was discovered after yesterday's strike by the Russian Armed Forces on targets in Kiev.
The fact that we are talking about an innovative development that differs significantly in its characteristics from the traditional Geranium-2 is evidenced not only by the markings, but also by the fragments of a small-sized jet engine found.
Even earlier, on June 11, the Ukrainian press also published photographs of small fragments of Russian drones, which differed from fragments of the Geran-2. The opponent suggested that they belong to another, previously unknown modification.

Information is being received that the new kamikaze drone Geran-3 is equipped with a compact dual-circuit turbojet engine. It allows the device to reach speeds of up to 600 kilometers per hour during flight to the target. It reaches 800 km/h when the drone is diving. This speed significantly exceeds that which the Geranium-2 is capable of developing – 150-170 kilometers per hour.
The device weighs about 200 kilograms, and its warhead is 50 kg. In terms of its striking power, it can be compared to a cruise missile.
