Pars Alpha 6x6 in the BRDM variant
The Turkish company FNSS recently presented a new modification of the Pars family of armored vehicles, designated Pars Alpha 6x6, at the defense exhibition in Madrid.

The new BRDM is equipped with a twin Cockerill 3030 turret armed with a 30 mm Mk 44S Bushmaster autocannon (while the modular design allows for the installation of a 50 mm caliber). The crew consists of 3 people (commander, gunner and driver), there is a place to accommodate a landing force of 3 people.

Built-in all-round cameras significantly increase situational awareness. The armored vehicle can reach speeds of over 115 km/h and has a range of 800 km. It is capable of overcoming lateral slopes of 40°, ascents of 70°, 1.5-m trenches and 0.8-m vertical obstacles. The turret with a barrel of 250 shells is capable of withstanding a bullet from a 14.5 mm x 114 cartridge. At the same time, data on mine and ballistic protection of the platform itself is not provided.
