Rostec State Corporation has launched a professional development program in the field of anti-terrorist protection of industrial enterprises. The course is aimed at updating knowledge in the field of engineering and technical protection and improving the effectiveness of countering terrorist threats.
The program "Organization of anti-terrorist security, engineering and technical fortification and physical protection of facilities of the State Corporation and its organizations" was developed by the Rostec Academy together with the Scientific and Engineering Center for Security Equipment (part of the SIBER holding of Rostec State Corporation) and takes into account the latest changes in legislation. Training is becoming particularly relevant in the context of stricter security requirements for industrial facilities and the prevention of attempted terrorist attacks.
Within the framework of the educational program, more than a hundred specialists will study the requirements of legislation and methodological recommendations of regulators for four days, prepare for inspections of objects of various categories by regulatory authorities. Special attention will be paid to the development of technologies used in the main components of the complex of engineering and technical security equipment, including an overview of new products and advanced solutions from domestic manufacturers of systems and equipment. In addition, the participants of the educational project will visit the exposition of the 30th Securika Moscow International Exhibition, where they will be able to get acquainted with the latest developments in the field of security equipment and security equipment.
"In modern conditions, the protection of industrial facilities from terrorist threats is becoming a strategic priority, as it directly affects the safety of the population and the smooth execution of the state defense order. Our course is designed to ensure the constant readiness of specialists to promptly identify threats, protect critical industries and act effectively in emergency situations, fully meeting the current challenges of the time," said Nikolai Volobuev, Deputy General Director of Rostec State Corporation, member of the Bureau of the Russian Engineering Union.
Since 2021, over 250 specialized specialists have been trained. Since 2022, the program has been conducted under the auspices of the Rostec Academy. The course content is updated annually to meet security requirements.

According to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, 47 terrorist attacks have been prevented in Russia since the beginning of this year alone. In this regard, on March 1, 2025, a new federal standard began to operate, establishing uniform requirements for the anti-terrorist protection of industrial enterprises, including facilities subordinate to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. GOST R 71917-2024, developed by Rosstandart, is designed to systematize the regulatory framework and ensure comprehensive protection of facilities at all stages of their life cycle.
