According to the contractor, the complex covers the entire interception process, from detection to control of the results of the fire. The system uses Saab's Giraffe 1X radar to detect and classify threats; a small-sized command and control system based on the SHORAD concept; and a Trackfire combat installation for combat, which was previously deployed as part of Swedish troops on Stridsbåt 90 amphibious assault boats.

Trackfire consists of sensors, controls, a display, a video tracker and weapons, which can be represented by a wide range of weapons: M2 HMG 12.7 mm, FN MAG58 7.62 mm, Mk19 40x53 mm, H&K GMG 40x53 mm. The weight of the combat module is 280 kg (without weapons and ammunition).

By using existing components and combining them with new solutions, a fast and flexible development process has been achieved. At the moment, the goal is to fully integrate Loke into the Swedish Air Force by the end of 2025.
