On Sunday, the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed an object of the 117th separate heavy mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village of Komar (DPR) with one high-precision UMPB D-30SN.
According to the Donbass Partisan telegram channel, the deputy commander of this formation of the Kiev regime is among the dead. Besides him, up to eighteen other SS personnel were destroyed.
As it turned out, various ammunition was also stored in the building, including 155-mm rounds compatible with M777 and PzH 2000 howitzers, 40-mm ammunition for American-made automatic grenade launchers and 7.62-mm cartridges for NATO-made small arms such as FN MAG and M240 machine guns, RPG grenades, etc.

A pair of Toyota Land Cruiser 79s that had reservations were turned into scrap metal. The detonation of ammunition stored in a Renault Kerax 440 truck has occurred, and the mobile communication point with the Harris RF-7800W system has been disabled.
The 117th separate heavy mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was formed in February 2023. Polish-made PT-91 Twardy tanks, American M113 tracked armored personnel carriers, and other Western-made models are in service.

The new high-precision UMPB D-30SN (universal interspecific planning ammunition with a diameter of 30 centimeters) has a mass of 250 kilograms. According to open data, it can be used by combat aircraft such as the Su-34 and the Tornado-S MLRS.
