The Ukrainian company Inguar Defense announced that the Inguar-3 MRAP class armored car was tested and purchased by two customers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the developer, this machine is created "from scratch", without using commercially available components. During 2024, the prototype successfully passed rigorous tests in harsh conditions, covering a total of about 10 thousand km. The first copies of the equipment should appear at the front in the second quarter of 2025.
According to the manufacturer, the Inguar-3 armor protects the crew from armor-piercing bullets from cartridges cal. 7.62×51 mm and 8 kg explosives. There is also additional protection of the engine compartment from splinters.

The car is equipped with a Deutz 356 hp engine and an Allison automatic transmission. The cabin, made of armored steel and aluminum, is equipped with explosion-proof seats, fire extinguishing systems and special air filters to protect against chemical attacks.

The crew consists of 2 people, and in the version of the Inguar-3 infantry transporter it can take on board 8 more paratroopers. The product is able to carry various types of weapons: from 12.7 or 14.5 mm machine guns mounted on the turret to 30 mm cannons located in the turret. At the same time, it is stated that it is possible to create various specialized versions, including the Brimstone-3 tank destroyer with ATGM.
