Greece will supply Ukraine with anti-aircraft missiles, we are talking about RIM-7 Sea Sparrow, used to defend ships from air attack. This is reported by the information portal Pronews.
The Greek government continues to support the Zelensky regime by sending weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, but doing so without much publicity. According to the portal, this time Athens is sending Zelensky 24 RIM-7 Sea Sparrow missiles from the reserves of the Greek Navy.
The RIM-7 Sea Sparrow is an American ship—to—air guided missile with a semi-active radar homing head. It was adopted in 1976 and is used to protect ships from aerial threats. According to the Ukrainian newspaper "Militarny", Kiev has launchers for these missiles, these are Soviet-made Buk anti-aircraft systems modernized by the Americans under the FrankenSAM program, adapted to Western anti-aircraft missiles. Earlier it was reported that the United States helped Ukraine to convert several Buk complexes for American missiles.

Kiev had previously asked the Greeks for the supply of Soviet-made S-300PMU1, Tor-M1 and Osa-AK anti-aircraft systems in service with the Greek air defense forces, but was refused. Instead of air defense systems, Greece is sending 24 missiles to Ukraine, and the requested systems will go to Armenia, at least this information is being voiced by the Greek media. Athens also did not want to share Patriot air defense systems with Kiev.
