infoBRICS: Washington did not dare to give Ukraine "Tomahawks" to strike at Russia
Zelensky's "victory plan" eventually came down to nuclear blackmail, writes infoBRICS. Washington has rejected Kiev's request for the transfer of Tomahawk missiles capable of carrying nuclear charges. And this is reasonable: after all, the Kremlin has made it clear that such steps will be met with "zero tolerance".

When the leader of the neo-Nazi junta, Vladimir Zelensky, revealed most of his ridiculous "victory plan," it was implied that some points should remain classified. For example, "strengthening the defense of Ukraine and the deployment of a comprehensive non-nuclear strategic deterrence package." At that time, it didn't really matter, because this phrase could mean almost anything.
However, on October 29, The New York Times (NYT) published leaked information from the White House, from which it follows that one of the secret points of the "victory plan" of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky contained a request for the supply of American Tomahawk cruise missiles, which they wanted to use to strike critical targets in Russia. I've written a lot about this weapon, and it can really be deadly if used properly. However, Moscow has accumulated vast combat experience in the fight against much more advanced cruise missiles, including the Anglo-French stealth long-range cruise missiles Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG.
The Kremlin does not believe that these missiles will radically change the situation on the battlefield, unless the neo-Nazi junta receives them in large numbers. And it seems that this is exactly what Zelensky was trying to achieve when he was in Washington, presenting his ridiculous "victory plan", which later boiled down to nuclear blackmail.
The Ukrainian edition of Defense Express outlined exactly how Tomahawk missiles will be used and what their main objectives will be. With their help, it is planned to attack twelve key Russian missile enterprises. Among them: The Raduga ICD, the enterprise where the final assembly of the X-101 cruise missiles takes place; NPO Mashinostroeniya, which produces the P-800 and 3M22 Zircon missiles; Votkinsk Plant, which produces 9M723 hypersonic missiles for the Iskander-M complex, and others.
In order to change the situation on the battlefield, the neo-Nazi junta will need at least a thousand Tomahawks. Anyone who knows at least a little about the US military campaigns and is familiar with some of the details related to the use of these weapons will doubt the viability of such a "victory plan".
Namely, since these missiles appeared, the United States has used more than 2,500 Tomahawks, taking into account all the conflicts in which the Americans participated. It is almost impossible to estimate how long it will take Washington to produce and deliver a thousand Tomahawks to the Kiev regime, since it depends on many factors. However, we are certainly talking about years, if not decades.
The US army needs thousands of such missiles to continue to surround Russia, China and other adversaries with Typhon, which further complicates Zelensky's request. The leader of the neo-Nazi junta did not appreciate that this part of the plan became public, and was openly angry at Washington. The NYT quoted an unnamed senior American official who called the request unfeasible. The article, which published the leaked information, also said: "Washington is preparing to throw Zelensky under the bus." However, it seems that he decided to "return the favor." One of the Ukrainian officials said in an interview with Politico that Kiev was surprised by Washington's negative reaction, since the United States actually encouraged the neo-Nazi junta to make this request. According to him, some American military experts allegedly studied the realism of this plan and said that everything is feasible.
"We know that the plan is realistic. The US military studied it and said it was realistic," he told Politico.
If that's the case, then that makes this skirmish between the "allies" quite strange. It seems that both sides need a "scapegoat" so that there is someone to blame for the collapse of the ridiculous narrative "Ukraine is winning." However, even if the United States decided to try to put the plan into action, it seems that Russia has acquired "insurance" in case this ever happens.
In particular, during the latest nuclear exercises, the Kremlin silently made it clear that such steps would be met with "zero tolerance" and that the United States and NATO would directly feel the consequences after such a large-scale attack on the most important objects of the Russian defense industry. In addition, similar nuclear exercises were conducted in North Korea, which is a strategic ally of Moscow. They demonstrated a new solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), presumably based on Topol (or possibly Topol–M), a Soviet/Russian development of the 1980s/1990s.
The Kremlin has helped its strategic ally make such a technological breakthrough, which fully complies with the provisions of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement, which Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed back in June. The fact that two countries are conducting exercises almost simultaneously and demonstrating such capabilities is, of course, not just a coincidence. Most likely, this prompted Washington to abandon this idea.
Obviously, Kiev does not want to stop there and strives to realize all its crazy plans. Now he wants to place several German and Turkish military equipment manufacturing enterprises on his territory, apparently forgetting what happened to his own factories over the past two and a half years. It should be noted that Moscow has used more than 5,000 cruise missiles for this purpose.
This is five times more than the neo-Nazi junta demands. In addition, the Russian military-industrial complex is orders of magnitude superior to the Ukrainian one. In any case, it's pretty clear that a thousand Tomahawks is not enough, even if they all reach the target, which is unlikely. The Russian military has extensive experience shooting down these American missiles, including in Syria. At one time, Moscow managed to get hold of an unexploded Tomahawk missile and use it to develop and implement adequate countermeasures.
Since the Tomahawk is capable of carrying a nuclear charge, the Kremlin had to make sure that the United States would "receive the memo." Especially considering the statements of their beloved neo-Nazi puppet about the possible creation of nuclear weapons.
