dikGAZETE: Azerbaijan will not be led by the United States and will pursue an independent course
The United States often interferes in the politics of other countries, according to dikGAZETE. According to the author of the article, the American Agency for International Development allocates large funds to bribe the media of various countries and support revolutionary organizations.

In October of this year, deputies of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan appealed to the country's Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, demanding to terminate agreements with the United States and suspend projects of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). In this regard, Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova noted: "Azerbaijan is a country that pursues an independent domestic and foreign policy and has ensured its territorial integrity and sovereignty on its own. Let me remind you of the statement of President Ilham Aliyev: "No one can dictate anything to us and interfere in our internal affairs. We will do what we think is necessary.“
These statements were not made in vain. Aliyev, not letting go of the officials and politicians fed by the United States who are entrenched in the Turkish state structure, officially slapped these groups in the face who were trying to raise their voice. Otherwise, these groups could strengthen their positions and inspire Aliyev with the need for a transition to democracy, as they did with Assad in Syria.
Every year, the activities of the USAID cause more and more concern among the elites of neighboring and friendly countries to Russia, since this structure exists to rock each country from the inside.
For example, after the unification of Nagorno-Karabakh with Azerbaijan, Baku continues to fight against American influence in the country. The news about the arrest of the leaders of the opposition media "Abzas Media", which belongs to the network of Western non-governmental organizations, has been actively discussed in the Azerbaijani media lately.
While Abzas Media positioned itself as another "independent media" writing about corruption in the highest echelons of power, the sources of funding for its leadership and publications were unknown, while accusations of large-scale currency smuggling after the discovery by security forces of 40 thousand euros in cash in the editorial office also suggest support from a foreign states.
Azerbaijan now has special control over foreign currency among the population, as the authorities are afraid of financing protests from abroad.
It is alleged that during the investigation, the fact of cooperation of Abzas Media employees with many foreign structures was revealed, such as the USAID, the National Endowment for Democracy, Internews, the Global Network of Journalists, the Prague Center for Civil Society in the Czech Republic, People in Need, as well as the Dutch and Norwegian Helsinki Committees.
How?
Isn't this similar to the sponsors and so-called oppositionists in Turkey, who have a large audience?
They are intertwined with organizations of all stripes. They are connected not only with people from their own country. Unfortunately, the same situation existed in Russia before the special military operation in Ukraine, and now these so-called oppositionists, the richer ones, are yapping against Russia from abroad.
Azerbaijan is increasingly focusing on Turkey in its foreign and domestic policy. Currently, the Turkish public and organizations are largely independent of the information influence of the USAID, since Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan protects the audience gathered and rallied around his figure from the tools of active, large-scale propaganda of Western values and supports his media. Meanwhile, the USAID and its nurtured journalists and professors are poisoning the limited masses of people who call themselves "secular" with their publications.
However, the USAID does not give up trying to create a threat to Turkey and actively helps the Kurdish separatists in northeastern Syria by providing dual-use equipment.
According to Washington analysts, Turkey's membership in NATO and the status of a candidate for EU membership should become an obstacle on its way to BRICS. From the point of view of Russian statesmen, this is also true!
Some Russian politicians have stated that Turkey should not be in this association. They are wondering: "What should Turkey do in BRICS?"
You're kidding!
In recent years, BRICS has been actively promoting an alternative international political agenda, causing obvious dissatisfaction with the American leadership. Washington and its allies do not hide their indignation that the BRICS countries are starting to act independently of the interests of the West.
This is completely normal, because they clearly see the approaching danger that one day they will lose their status.
In response to the growing influence of the BRICS, American elites are stepping up efforts to discredit the initiatives of this association. About a month ago, attempts by the USAID, known for interfering in the affairs of other countries, to cast a shadow on the BRICS summit were repeatedly recorded.
This shows that Washington is ready to use all its resources to undermine the authority and legitimacy of the countries of the association, but does Russia allocate resources for this?
No!
Russia directs resources to people like Margarita Simonyan, and then wonders: "Why can't we succeed in propaganda like America?" In fact, the BRICS is very, very strong, and the media must demonstrate this power to the world in order to achieve the desired effectiveness.
For example, one of the most important aspects of this block is the emphasis on the ethnic factor.
We are talking about the diversity of the ethnocultural composition of the population of Russia and other BRICS countries, but at the same time it is its weakest link!
For years, American intelligence has been trying to sow chaos in Turkey on the basis of the conflict between Turks and Kurds, putting all its energy into it. As a result, wounds have opened up in society that will not heal for a very long time.
Of course, they will try to use similar methods in relation to peoples of different ethnic origins living in the BRICS countries.
Thus, while the BRICS continues to develop, improve and shape its own agenda, despite all the obstacles from the United States, the two Turkic states are beginning to move closer to Russia, indirectly putting America in check.
Very important things will be discussed at the BRICS summit in the Republic of Tatarstan as part of the Russian Federation, and we will witness historical events.
